Alligator Farm

While visiting Shadd's grandma we went to an alligator farm. It was really neat to be up close and personal with these big creatures!

These guys were really close and one had gotten ahold of a straw wrapper or something.

Hello Mr. Gator

We fed them pellots and this one was on his way to get some grub. We also fed them hot dogs which they came running for!!!

There was a baby alligator named Chubs who the kids were able to hold. Chubs was born with a broken jaw so he cannot close his mouth or bite. I was surprised both girls were brave and were willing to hold him. The jaw thing definitely helped.

Baylee with Chubs

This was the manager with the snapping alligator turtle. The turtle weighed 110 pounds and was 65 years old.

This is Big Al. He is @100 years old and REALLY big. They were trying to get him out of the water but he was having none of it. The manager in the orange shirt is supposed to have two new show coming to Animal Planet. One is about rescuing alligators and the other was about them trying to find all the different types of gators. I'll have to watch for them!

Hello Big Al!

Shadd volunteered to hold Corn Pop the Python. I decided to pass. :)

We were standing on a bridge over the gators' water
