Last night Steve had an appreciation dinner for everyone down at the river. It was a beautiful night and the girls had a lot of fun!

Girl's night

The other night some gymnastics moms and a few of Baylee's gym friends came over so the moms could scrapbook. The girls had a ball! They tumbled around on our new mat forever!

Sunshine's shower

Yesterday we visited Emily's house in Kentucky again for Sunshine's baby shower. She and my cousin Alex are expecting their first baby, Landon in July. It was a beautiful day and a great time with family. It's not too often we get all the women together. Melissa and Hannah even came from North Carolina! It was so great to see you all and on our next visit we will get to meet Landon!!!

An antique baby bed given to Alex and Sunshine. Bethany was fascinated by it. I'm sure she was trying to figure out how all of her baby dolls would fit inside.

To finish yesterday off, Baylee had her gymnastics performance day. This is the final performance of the year and then she moves up to a different team. She did a great job. We are very proud!

Preschool graduation

Okay, so another weekend of milestones! This morning Baylee graduated from preschool. I can't believe she is already ready to enter kindergarten!!! Didn't we just bring her home from the hospital yesterday? I never knew 51/2 years could fly by so quickly. They all did such a good job during the ceremony. Their favorite part was being able to throw their caps in the air! I'm going to savor this moment because I know we will blink and she will be graduating again!! We are so proud of her and as bittersweet as this occasion is, we are excited to begin this next journey!! We love you Baylee!

Throwing their caps
Each graduate had to say what the wanted to be when they grow up...Baylee said "I want to be a teacher"...I think it is in the blood
Bethany was proud of sissy too!
Baylee and Colten (they have been buddies since before birth...his mommy and I worked together when they were born)
I just love the expression on Kannon's face. "Do I have to stand with these girls mom?" Call it a hunch but I bet his tune will change in a few years.

Birthday / family fun!

I can't believe my baby is three!!! My how these three years have flown!!! We had such a busy day today. We started off with a small birthday party at home for Bethany. She had a princess cake and lots of presents!! She has new Barbies, lots of new Barbie clothes and dress up clothes. Hours and hours of fun to come!!!
After we celebrated her birthday, we jumped into the car with Nana and Pops and headed for Winchester. We went to celebrate our cousin Laura's college graduation. We got to see lots of mommy's family that we haven't seen in a long time! It was a great time!

Here is the birthday girl and her princess cake!

Friends and fun

Derby day we spent the evening with the Millers and Fullers. the kids were really good and we had a great time!

Baylee really enjoyed Emily and Presley
Bethany and a cell phone she found. Just signs of things to come!
I spent a good deal of time trying to get a picture of the four older kids together. It was no easy task. I thought this one was a hoot although I am a little concerned about Baylee's pose. I think we're going to have to have a talk!

Barnstable Brown

Last night was our annual trip to the Barnstable Brown pre-Derby party in Louisville to sneak a peek at some celebs! Unfortunately this year Mother Nature was not very cooperative and it was raining most of the afternoon. We went to plan B and went to see the movie Made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey. It was really cute...definitely a chick flick. After the movie the weather had calmed down and we decided to head over to see what we could see at the party. We got pretty good spots as not as many people were there this year(I guess the smart ones stayed home to keep dry). Some of the celebs we saw were Hugh Hefner and his girls, Jerry O'Connell, Bo Derek, Nick Lachey, Tom Brady, Lennox Lewis, Bill O'Reilly. I did get some pictures but not any really good ones, as the rain picked up again and they were darting for their limos. We stayed until about 1:15am in the pouring rain at that point until we decided to throw in the towel. Despite the rain we had a good time. We saw one party guest taken out on a stretcher and several fall down the slippery, wet hill. Oh well, I had fun Jennifer and Kirsten!!! Hopefully the weather will cooperate next year!!!!!
