Slumber party fun!

Friday night Baylee had her first sleepover at home to celebrate her birthday. The theme was the Jonas brothers. She and her friends are nutty about them right now. We started by going to the salon and getting up-do's and make-up. Then we went home for the sleepover. They made bracelets, did each other's nails and watched movies. They were super excited and energetic. I could not get them to go to sleep. I had to hold my eyes open by the time they all gave in to sleepy land! It is such a good group of girls and they had a great time. Baylee is a very serious child and it was worth every minute of exhaustion to see her laughing and giggling all night. I would do it again in a heartbeat to see that face! She had a ball!

The cake was my favorite part. I get so tired of the average bakery cake and one of Baylee's friends told me about this lady who does cakes out of her home. I emailed her and saw some of her cakes. I thought she would be outrageously priced but to my surprise she was not much more than the bakery would be. So I thought we would try it out. It was too cute and she even put the Jonas Brothers' pictures on it. It was absolutely adorable. We used the top tier for her sleepover and then the bottom for our family party. It worked out great!
Megan's birthday was last week and her mom let us borrow her life-sized Jonas brothers. They were a huge hit! Thanks LeeAnn!!!

When we got home from the salon I got the girls to have a little "photo shoot". They each got a boa and posed. I think some of them are destined to be in front of the camera!
This was at the salon waiting to get started

Chuck E Cheese

Recently Baylee went to Sami's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. She had lots of fun with her gymnastics buddies. Her new team is small but such a great group of girls and parents. Wonderful families!!!

Sellersburg Celebrates Parade

All of the Sellersburg Celebrates Prince and Princess contestants were able to be in the parade. Bethany was really excited and the weather was perfect! They all got to throw candy which was interesting. They all got so excited at the beginning that after the first block, it was all gone. I walked along the float with some of the other moms and barely escaped head trauma from all the flying candy! It was lots of fun!

Bethany and Anna

I just thought this little boy was too cute!

There goes the candy!

1st day of school

August 26th was a big day here. It was the first day of school. No more lazy days of summer for a while! Baylee is now in first grade. She was really nervous on the first day and shed a few tears(I saved mine for the car on the way to work). After the first day she was fine and now is ready to go each day! Bethany began preschool. She was so excited and ready to be a big girl! It's hard to believe our girls are growing up so fast! We are so proud of both of them!
