West Baden

Today mom and I took a ride to see West Baden and the casino in French Lick. I had not seen it since everything had been remodeled. WOW! What an amazing place. The cool part is that my great-grandparents drove their Model T Ford here for their honeymoon in 1922. It is so neat to see it restored. The weather was really crummy and of course the flowers were not in bloom yet but I still found a few cool pictures to take. I am always looking for a great picture!!

This is the inside of the West Baden hotel

This is as much of the ceiling as I could fit it! WOW!

They let you tour their pricey room if you ask. Quite nice I might add!

The bathroom

I just love this picture

This is actually remnants of the recent rainfall in a former grassy area

This is another favorite!

Zoo fun (cold zoo fun that is)

Today we decided to see what the animals were up to at the zoo. It was so nice and sunny but also really chilly. Even with the wind and cold it was a lot of fun!

This little little guy was mommy's favorite!!!

Baylee was a ham for the camera today!

One of many good Kodak moments

Of course mommy had to drag us to a pretty backdrop for a picture. Unfortunately the wind picked up and caught our hair!!!!!

If this isn't true love what is?

Bethany was not too sure about the animals this year

Carousel ride

After we left the zoo we ate lunch in the car and with full tummies and too much fresh air, the girls were snoozing before we made it home. Bethany even fell asleep with a "fire chip"(as she calls Doritos) in her hand.

Happy Easter!

Look mom...the Easter bunny came to see us!!!!

Decorating Easter eggs

Here the girls are excited to get started decorating their Easter eggs.

All of daddy's girls(except for Lexi the cat)

look at our pretty eggs!!!

Daddy and his girls

This actually was a picture from yesterday afternoon. I thought the outfit Bethany chose for dress-up was especially stylish, don't you? The shirt underneath is actually part of a Christmas outfit. Then on top is a hooded fleece sweat jacket. For the pants selection we have last year's velour Valentine pants which now look like capri pants. And to top it all off we have mis-matched princess shoes. Watch out ladies...this could be the up and coming trend!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday the girls had a great time on an Easter egg hunt. There were games to play, prizes to win and lots and lots of eggs to find!!! With the weather not so great it was held inside but still a great time!

I know this is not a big surprise to anyone who saw the Santa picture but Bethany was not a big fan of the Easter bunny. Here she is clinging to daddy!

The hard part will be convincing Baylee to wash off the face paint!

Girls will be girls!

Okay, so as usual when we get home Bethany goes into "dress-up" mode. Yesterday she somehow found a dress I had saved that Baylee wore when she was 7 months old!!! I have no idea how she fit into it but it was a good laugh! The messy face was the icing on the cake!
