Happy New Year!!!
Last night we spent New Year's Eve at the Miller's. It was a family affair and the kids had a ball!!!! Baylee had a great time playing with a new friend Emma. Bethany and Griffin hit it off and played the whole night together. Jenny is planning long term with the two of them. I must admit they make quite the cute couple.

Build-a-Bear fun
Yesterday we took the girls to the Build-a-Bear Workshop. This was Bethany's first time and she was wide-eyed. As you know she LOVES clothes, shoes, and dress-up play. So when she walked in and saw all the different outfits for the animals, she froze. She really was not concerned with even stuffing her bunny. She was ready to accessorize her. Daddy was a good sport and was very patient while the girls tried to decide which outfit would be the best for their animals. It was a lot of fun and they are so proud of their creations. I will get a picture of the girls and the animals all dressed up and post it soon!

Kentucky visit
Merry Christmas
Christmas morning the girls were super excited to see what Santa had brought. They loved opening all of their presesnts but had a little trouble because Santa must havve found super heavy duty paper and tape. It required some adult assistance to get them open. Oops Santa!!! It has also gotten a little more interesting since Baylee is now quite the reader. This year she made a list and after each gift she cross-referenced whether or not it was on her list. All I can say is she is her father's daughter. I think it's the "math mind". Nonetheless it cracked us up!!!

Christmas Eve...take 2
On Christmas Eve in our immediate family we open presents from mommy and daddy to the girls, gifts from aunts, uncles, and grandmas(via mail) and gifts to each other. The girls had lots of fun. Thanks everyone for sending wonderful gifts. We miss and love you all!!!
Christmas Eve with Nana and Pops
Being an only child makes most of our hoiday get-togethers on my side very quaint. It's very nice after all the hustle and bustle to spend Christmas Eve with my mom and dad. I know I am partial, but I do believe I have the best parents in the world. We love you so much and there is no way we can ever repay you for your love and kindness over the years.
