Good day to paint

Wow was it cold today. We thought it would be a good day to finally paint Baylee's room. We have been here for over a year and she is excited to finally have her purple room. She has a new quilt that our friend Olivia's mother made for her with lots of neat dresses, shoes and purses on it!! Very girly!!! Anyway, the girls had fun watching and helping to paint too!!! What help they were!!!! :) The only catastrophe we had was Bethany leaning up against a freshly painted wall and turning herself purple. Oh well it made it interesting!

After the excitement of painting died down it was time for a beauty shop. Baylee decided more is better when it came to hair accessories!!! Oh the fun of girls!!!

Oh dinner time at our house is quite an experience. I always imagined the ideal Brady Bunch image where the children are all pitching in and helping with chores and household duties. Well now our girls have decided they love to help set the table for dinner. I am so glad they want to help but wow is it a fun time! A task that normally takes 5 minutes can drag on to 15 or more. And the arguments about who has napkins tonight and who is passing out spoons(or "poons" as Bethany calls them). The stress level is quite high but what an accomplishment when we're finally sitting down to eat!!!!

Okay so Bethany loves to dress up but tonight she went all out!!! She disappears for a few and comes back with a bathing suit on that is a year too small...on backwards with the chest exposed as well as the buns. She accessorized with her Dora sunglasses and her princess glass slippers. Needless to say it was quite amusing however I have just shown the heads up picture to save her dignity!!!! Mommy and daddy got a good laugh but we're hoping it is not any indication of future career choices!!!!

Tonight we took dinner next door and the girls got to meet baby Eden. We forget how little babies are!! She is such a cutie and we can't wait to play with her again.

We had such fun playing with Scooter and Sadie tonight so their mommy and daddy could go out! Unfortunately Sadie fell asleep before we got the camera out but Scooter was happy to say cheese!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Well another year has passed, quite quickly I might add. They seem to get faster and faster each year!!! We had some good times and not so good times, but overall it was a great year. We are truly blessed with such a wonderful family and group of friends. Please know how much each and every one of you mean to us. We appreciate you in our lives and look forward to making many more wonderful memories in 2008. We wish everyone the best for the new year!
