shutterbug continues

I am sad that the ice and snow are melting today. It is just so beautiful I can't get enough of it. Anyway, now that Bethany is feeling better I drug the girls out in the cold this morning. It was really sunny and REALLY bright. Baylee's eyes have always been pretty sensitive to bright light so just about every picture she is squinting. They didn't last very long but it was fun anyway. They are soooo over getting their pictures taken!!!!

Family movie night

We have had a LOT of quality family time this past week being snowed in. It has been trying at times but lots of fun. Last night we had a family movie night. We watched Miracle Dogs which was really cute. We turned the futon around and watched it on the wall. Cozy on the couch with my three favorite people!!!!

Last night I escaped the house and went to dinner and Wicked with the girls. It was an unbelievable show. I loved it!!!! Definitely two thumbs up!!!! Thanks girls for a great time!

We're snowed in!!!!!!

Well, our snow that was predicted definitely hit and we have been snowed in for two days. It has been both nice and trying. Baylee has been able to go out and enjoy it a little but unfortunately Bethany has not been feeling well again and has had to stay inside. Needless to say she has been a little grumpy. I feel bad for her and I hope she is back to her happy self soon!!!! Anyway, we were covered with lots of ice last night and I took a couple of quiet COLD mommy moments outside and took some pictures. It was a shutterbug's dream!!!!!! There were so many really cool shapes and forms. If I didn't think I would freeze solid I would have stayed out longer!!!!!! Unfortunately this year Bethany has spent a good deal of time at the doctor with various things. I feel like we should have frequent flier miles at this point!!!! Anyway, they do have a really cool waiting room with lots to look at. Bethany especially loves the fishe tank. This particular day she wanted to "go for a swim". It was a hoot!!!!

Aloha!!!!

Last week mom went on a Hawaiian cruise with her friends. We suffered here in zero degree temperatures while she toured the beautiful islands without us(no bitterness here mom!). Anyway, she had a terrific time and we are so glad she is home safely. She brought the girls some hula outfits and goodies. She also found me a really cool Obama shirt. Thanks mom for all the goodies!!! We love you.

Bethany has taken the clothing thing to a new level. Lately after we have put her to bed, she sneaks out of bed and picks out what she wants to wear the next day. In this particular picture she has even put the dress and shirt inside the jacket she planned on wearing over the top. Unfortunately it was a little cold for a sleeveless shirt and skirt but I give her an A for effort. This time it was actually a coordinating outfit! It cracks us up some of the things she comes up with!

Happy New Year!!!

Last night we spent New Year's Eve at the Miller's. It was a family affair and the kids had a ball!!!! Baylee had a great time playing with a new friend Emma. Bethany and Griffin hit it off and played the whole night together. Jenny is planning long term with the two of them. I must admit they make quite the cute couple.
